My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures, and supplies a range of bespoke equipment internationally. As a Production Planner, your role will focus on Production Planning, getting involved with current manufacturing processes, and implementing lean manufacturing methodologies.

Production Planner Responsibilities;

• Responsible for creating and implementing Production Plans
• To implement a Lean Manufacturing approach to current processes
• To troubleshoot Production Orders
• To create and present KPI reports
• To communicate effectively with all Production departments and engineers

Production Planner Experience;

• Previous experience in a Production Planner position is essential
• Experience in lean manufacturing methodologies
• Previous experience working within a technical manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Knowledge of Lean and kaizen techniques would be advantageous
• Experienced in operating SAP software
• A good understanding of technical production processes would be beneficial
