Production Planner

Location: Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd, LL41 3RY
Salary: £16.92 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Fixed Term Contract for 12-18 months

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Planner to join a fast-paced and growing extrusion manufacturing facility in Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic production environment and wants to play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, efficiently, and on time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating and managing daily and weekly production schedules for extrusion operations
• Ensuring production plans align with customer demand and delivery targets
• Coordinating with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed
• Monitoring progress against schedules and quickly resolving planning challenges
• Maintaining accurate production data using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Working closely with sales, logistics, and production teams to keep everything running smoothly
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Production Planner or Production Scheduling role
• Experience in extrusion manufacturing is highly desirable but not essential
• Essential strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook,
• ERP/MRP systems (desirable)
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communicator who enjoys working across teams
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
