As Planning & Logistics Manager you will control the flow of sales orders from customer order entry through to the MRP system and into production. To work flexibly and collaboratively with other colleagues.
To plan and acknowledge orders.
To create works orders.
To create pick lists.
Daily checking the despatches due.
To create reports and reporting information.
Monitoring and controlling of stock levels.
To forecast demand and plan for customer satisfaction.
Raw materials planning.
To schedule orders.
Tracking the progress of orders.
To supervise the invoicing and despatch function to ensure delivery dates and customer support duties are met.
To build and maintain a good professional relationship with Managers and all internal and external contacts.
Any project work as required.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
Maintain maximum efficiency at all times.
You must be experienced in a similar role.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Strong organisation & administrative skills.
Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
CILT qualification beneficial.
Strong Microsoft Office & Excel skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Basic Salary Circa. £30k.
33 Days Holiday.
Based Near Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
