Job description

The Role

Reporting to and providing support for the Project Support Manager, this is a busy and varied role requiring someone with a friendly and positive approach with the ability to work at pace. You will need to be able to take ownership and responsibility for your work, meeting deadlines by working both independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication, administration and organisational skills will be key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans for new projects.
  • Initiate site set up documents for new projects.
  • Prepare site folders, location maps and posters for new projects.
  • Register new sites with Considerate Constructor.
  • Assist with the Preparation of monthly Progress Reports.
  • Take minutes at project Handover/Closeout meetings.
  • Source and collate subcontractor O&M information.
  • Produce Health & Safety Building Files and PC Checklists to meet scheduled completion dates.
  • Prepare CEMP's (Construction Environmental Management Plans).
  • Prepare Building User Guides.
  • Prepare Building Log Books.
  • Liaise with principal Designers, Architects, Structural Engineers and clientele at all levels in a professional manner.
  • Liaise with Contract Managers, Site Managers, Design Team Managers and Subcontractors in a professional manner.
    Prepare documents/storage boxes ready for archiving and arrange delivery of these to site.
  • Review returned site documentation and log onto the archive database.
    Arrange Scanfile as necessary to carry out the scanning of the archived information.

Requirements

  • Previous office administration experience.
  • IT literacy to include Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience within the construction industry is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication & customer service skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Highly organised.

Based in Bromsgrove.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.

28 Days Holiday.

Salary Circa £19,000
