Purchase Ledger - temporary to assist for 1 - 4 weeks possibly longer

35 Hours Per Week (can be flexible) IMMEDIATE START

Office working in Worcester central

Hewett Recruitment's Finance team are currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger to start as soon as possible for our client based in Worcester. This is a wonderful opportunity if you are available immediately and can commit to 1-4 weeks work carrying out finance duties for a small and reputable organisation.

Brief overview of duties:

  • Processing Invoices
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Matching PO's
  • Reconcilliaition
  • Posting remittances
  • Processing of expenses
  • Reconciliation of credit cards
  • Investigation of any unusual transactions
  • Recording of all transactions, including the inputting of accounting data to computer records
  • Maintenance of gift aid files and accounts
  • Thank you letters and certificates
  • Emailing remittance advices to suppliers
  • preparing bank reconciliations
  • posting all direct debit and standing order payments and ensuring copy invoices are maintained
  • management of systems to ensure tight controls, especially with regards to payments
  • posting of journals as and when required
  • assisting with audit preparation
