Job: Purchase Ledger Supervisor
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Location: Worcester
I am representing a truly fantastic client to work for in Worcester who due to their current incumbent retiring, they are now seeking a Purchasae Ledger supervisor/head of purchase ledger to join the purchase ledger team. This position would be most suited to someone who is looking to join a stable company and one in which they can stay for longevity.
The key duties of this role will be the leading of a small team to enable the accurate and timely inputting of transactions and preparing the supplier payments BACS run, but experience in all areas of the purchase ledger is essential.
To be successful in this role the candidate must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, be computer literate, have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, have the ability to work within a team environment and work with integrity.
Duties:
- Coding of invoices and Authorisation of payments (main duty)
- Preparing and running BACs payments (main duty)
- Reconciling supplier statements (occasionally)
- Other adhoc duties
