Level 5 Qualifications Assessor - Cornwall
Salary: £32,370
Hours: 35 per week
If you are you passionate about supporting others to achieve their full potential in Health and Social Care, our client is looking for a Level 5 Qualifications Assessor to join their dedicated team, helping care staff and managers achieve their qualifications from Level 3 to Level 5.
As part of the team, you'll deliver high-quality RQF assessments, mentor staff, and guide candidates through their journey to completing the Level 5 Diploma in Adult Social Care. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on people's professional development and on the quality of care across Cornwall.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver RQF Assessment services up to Level 5, adhering to internal policies and external standards.
- Support standardisation events and external verification visits.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Coach and mentor staff, helping them develop the skills needed to meet awarding body requirements.
- Guide candidates in assembling portfolios for assessment and internal verification, maintaining accurate progress records.
Skills and Experience required:
- NVQ/QCF/RQF or equivalent in a relevant discipline at Level 5.
- Vocational Assessor award (A1), TAQA, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
- Microsoft office skills, including PowerPoint.
- Experience with RQF quality assurance systems.
- Professional experience relevant to the RQF programmes you'll assess.
- Recent experience in a similar assessor role.
- Full driving licence (as travel across Cornwall is required).
