My client is a specialist manufacturer that designs, manufactures, and supplies a range of plastic products. As a Quality Engineer, your role will focus on ensuring that supplier components and the produced products meet industry standards.

Quality Engineer Responsibilities;

  • Liaising with suppliers and clients
  • Assess incoming parts to ensure that they meet quality standards
  • Implement quality improvements and apply Lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Develop, document, and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes
  • Provide technical support to clients, suppliers, and colleagues

Quality Engineer Requirements;

  • Experience working within a technical manufacturing environment
  • Experience in root cause analysis
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing
  • Previous experience in a Quality Engineer position is essential
  • Knowledge of and experience with Quality systems and methods
  • Experience with PPAP & APQP
  • Excellent communication skills are a must
