Quality Engineer

My client is a specialist manufacturer that designs, manufactures, and supplies a range of plastic products. As a Quality Engineer, your role will focus on ensuring that supplier components and the produced products meet industry standards.
Quality Engineer Responsibilities;
- Liaising with suppliers and clients
- Assess incoming parts to ensure that they meet quality standards
- Implement quality improvements and apply Lean manufacturing methodologies
- Develop, document, and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes
- Provide technical support to clients, suppliers, and colleagues
Quality Engineer Requirements;
- Experience working within a technical manufacturing environment
- Experience in root cause analysis
- Experience in Lean manufacturing
- Previous experience in a Quality Engineer position is essential
- Knowledge of and experience with Quality systems and methods
- Experience with PPAP & APQP
- Excellent communication skills are a must
