Recruitment Officer (FTC)

This innovative, forward thinking company is looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join its HR team and take the lead on a number of key recruitment campaigns. As well as writing engaging adverts, advertising vacancies and searching for key candidates, the Recruitment Officer will be responsible for the full recruitment process within the HR department.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

· End to end recruitment process including dealing with enquiries, shortlisting CVs, conducting initial TEAMS interviews

· Sourcing suitable candidates through a range of identified methods and sources including LinkedIn, Social media and Job boards

· Responding to applicants who have applied to adverts

· Arranging interview days and content

· Negotiating recruitment agency fees where applicable

· Arranging psychometric assessments where applicable

· Providing constructive feedback to candidates

· Co-ordinating temporary resourcing requirements by liaising with Line Managers and agencies

· Managing compliance with GDPR regulations and Data Protection Act

This Recruitment Officer role will be a key support to HR and hopefully reduce the need to use agencies. Experience within an HR department is preferred but the experience of sourcing candidates is key.

Skills and experience:

· Proven experience of the full recruitment life cycle

· Confident in sourcing candidates through online searches

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Confident in writing adverts

· Experience of working in a fast paced environment with an ability to manage several recruitment campaigns

· Excellent team player

· CIPD qualification preferred (not essential)

Based on the outskirts of Herefordshire, our client is looking to recruit a full time person for a Fixed term contract of 9 months (some consideration may be given to part time hours over 5 days)

Salary up to £28k (depending on experience)
