Sales Ledger Controller / Administrator KT 28186

As part of a fantastic organisation where team ethos is paramount, this role reports directly to the Management Accountant and sits within a fast paced environment. Managing hundreds of active trade accounts, including some overseas customers in various currencies, this role will ensure that sales accounts are reconciled and up to date. Some additional office administration to support other departments will also be required.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

*Assisting and supporting the Management Accountant to maintain financial records
*Posting and emailing sales invoices and statements
*Credit checking new customers
*Checking debtor aging and chasing any debts past due date
*Maintaining sales ledger
*Processing credit notes for refunds
*Processing credit and debit card payments via telephone
*Allocating payments through the bank
*Monitoring and adjusting levels of credit insurance assigned to each key customer
*Supporting with reports and projects as required
*Supporting departments with administration if required
*Organising internal and quarterly staff meetings
*Updating and circulating minutes

Skills and experience:

*Previous experience of working within an accounts environment
*Excellent numerical skills with an ability to analyse and assess data
*Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
*Confident in liaising and communicating with a variety of individuals
*Excellent relationship builder
