Sales Manager

Are you a proven technical sales person, looking for the next step in your career to a Sales Manager position? We are looking for an individual from an IT, Cyber or Telecoms background with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
You will have the opportunity to recruit, train and lead your own small team of Account Managers, setting the standards and motivating them to achieve their best. You will be working with a mixture of new and existing clients.

Sales Manager Responsibilities

* Lead, inspire and support a small team of Account Managers
* Identify training needs and knowledge gaps, working with your team to overcome barriers to sales
* Manage your own Account base and demonstrate best practice in new business sales
* Coach team members by transferring expert knowledge to boost their new business skills
* Work closely with other Sales Managers to ensure collaborative success
* Achieve monthly and quarterly targets by maximising all opportunities
* Keep up to date with technological developments

Sales Manager Requirements

* Previous experience within an IT or communications environment
* Classically sales trained and a proven expert in sales. Must be able to demonstrate a consultative / solution-led approach
* Demonstrable and stable track record of sales success, detailing specific sales achievements
* A commitment to creating a first-class customer service environment
* Passionate about technology
* Able to adapt quickly and maintain a high performing culture
* Passionate about maximising sales opportunities by motivating your team
* Ability to analyse data to proactively to set KPI's
