Our Worcester based client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager who will be based both on site in the Worcester Office and out in the field. Experience of working within automation and electronics is essential as is the ability to manage, lead and motivate Sales Engineers.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
*Determining and assigning sales areas
*Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue for the sales engineers
*Developing sales strategies to acquire new clients
*Analysing sales data
*Preparing sales cost budgets
*Monitoring competition, economic indicators and industry trends
*Setting targets and performance plans for sales representatives
*Meeting with sales team on a weekly basis to assess progress
*Delivering quarterly performance reviews
*Maintaining and developing relationships with customers
*Resolving customer issues and negotiating as required
Skills and experience required for the role:
*A demonstrable record of meeting and exceeding targets
*Previous experience of managing sales teams
*Previous experience within automation
*Exceptional rapport building skills
*Experience of developing new business as well as working with existing clients
*Outstanding communication skills at all levels
