Some key duties and responsibilities for the HR Advisor will include (but not be limited to):
*Supporting the company's UK recruitment and headcount strategy
*Leading the induction and onboarding process for new starters
*Supporting the recruitment of new employees
*Supporting and advising line managers on recruitment best practice
*Managing a range of HR issues and cases such as disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance. ·
*Acting as the main point of contact for all benefit-related questions.
The HR Advisor will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of UK Employment Law and keep up to date with employment legislation.
*Ensuring, as the STEM Ambassador, that the Company has a pipeline of Young Talent
*Working with the UK HR Manager on ensuring the attraction and retention of apprentices, industrial and work placement students
*Passionately driving employee engagement and enhance communication with all colleagues.
To succeed in this role, you will have an excellent track record in a generalist capacity across the full HR lifecycle preferably in the Engineering or Manufacturing sector. You will be a team player with the ability to manage a varied workload with multiple stakeholders.
Additional skills and experience required:
*CIPD qualified or studying towards.
*Strong organisation and administrative skills
*An Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how a business operates.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Microsoft Office (including good Excel skills).
