Job description
Senior HR Advisor
If you are an experienced HR Advisor who thrives on working in a busy, 'hands on' environment, supporting and working with the HR Manager, this could be a fantastic opportunity to use your generalist skills and experience within a vibrant manufacturing environment.
This role is office based and requires a natural self-starter who can lead on key projects as well as the day to day HR function, including all administration as required.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Providing advice and guidance on all disciplinary, attendance and conduct issues
- Contributing to HR policy development and providing support to managers and supervisors on policies and processes
- Updating and maintaining the HR systems (SD Worx and Protime Time & Attendance platforms)
- Administration of all contracts and changes in conditions
- Responsibility for employee benefits
- Maintaining all HR records
- Dealing with recruitment, conduct and grievance cases
- Any other duties required
Skills and experience required for the Senior HR Advisor role:
- CIPD qualified (ideally to level 5)
- Experience in a busy, 'hands on' environment
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- Experience with HR systems
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent relationship builder
- A positive, proactive and resilient attitude
