Senior Project Administrator

If you are an individual who thrives on being the key support within a team and you can meet deadlines as requested, this could be a fantastic opportunity to join a small, thriving company who is looking for a Senior Administrator to support Project Managers and the MD.

With exceptional administration and organisational skills, you will be highly proficient on all Microsoft Office packages and be confident in formatting and presenting reports.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Supporting the team on a daily basis with the preparation and presentation of files
  • Being the first point of call for incoming queries
  • Typing notes from meetings
  • Responding to emails on behalf of the team
  • Managing the Project Managers' and MD's diaries and creating events
  • Managing and maintaining Health and Safety files
  • Organising training for staff as required
  • Arranging accommodation for site based staff and contractors as required
  • Taking responsibility for general office organisation

In addition to the standard administrative duties, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to support the Project Managers on:

  • Coordinating tender addendums
  • Working with the Project and Site Managers to coordinate all construction drawings and ensure they are issued to the relevant subcontractors
  • Obtaining quotations from suppliers
  • Carrying out comparison

This is an excellent opportunity to be the key coordinator within a small team and will give an individual an opportunity to use existing skills and develop new ones.

Some key skills and experience required:

  • Outstanding administration and organisational skills
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience using Adobe (preferred but not essential)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly accurate
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • A willingness to assist with tasks as required
