Senior Software Developer responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Tech Director to help deliver technical solutions to solve client needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Software Development team, ensuring objectives are met on-time and on budget
• Develop software in an Agile environment and adhere to the value and ethos of agile software delivery
• Ensure technology is being utilised effectively, in addition to using new technologies to drive the business forward

Senior Software Developer Requirements:

• Strong experience in developing solutions using Microsoft .Net technologies including: C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, MVC, .Net Core
• REST APIs
• Javascript / CSS / SCSS
• SQL Server
• Windows Server
• A keen interest and experience working with and developing cloud-based software, with knowledge of Azure (Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Web Apps, Azure Logic Apps)
• Awareness of Open Source technologies such as Umbraco, Linux, PHP, MySQL
• Experience in providing technical expertise and support to a team throughout a software development process
• An individual who is actively passionate about software development and a desire to grow the business as well as themselves

The Senior Software Developer role offers a starting salary of £40-70,000, commensurate with experience. The company will also consider ambitious individuals who want to move into a Senior Software Developer role in the future and can demonstrate the right technical and personal competencies. The firm is based in Kidderminster, with the opportunity to work flexibly on an ad hoc basis, dependent on the demands of the role.
