Senior Software Engineer
An incredibly successful and rapidly growing specialist solutions provider is looking for a new Senior Software Engineer to join its team working with either C++ or Java. The company provide market leading software to a range of public and private sector clients and pride themselves on the personal development they offer employees and the culture and working environment it provides.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing cutting edge technology and helping guide the architecture and design of the product range. You will use the latest development tools and practices to maximise efficiency and effectiveness, whilst providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
The successful candidate will have:
* 5+ years of commercial software development experience, with a primary focus in either Java / Spring or C++ / Qt
* Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, containerisation, infrastructure as code)
* Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
* Experience in AWS / VMWare virtualisation development and deployment
Applicants need be comfortable with picking up any programming language (they use a range - C++, Java, Python, Typescript) and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Any experience with enterprise scale solutions / customers would be beneficial, as would knowledge of Windows and Linux operations systems, networking technologies (routers, switches and firewalls) and test automation.

Salary £50-55,000, commensurate with experience.
