The role will involve (but not limited to)-
-To finish Aluminium components to A Class standard
-To work as part of the Manufacturing Team to satisfy customer demand in a productive and safe manner, whilst ensuring required Quality standards are met.
-Work as a team member in a high quality manufacturing environment, will be used to using a hand sander, linishers & grinders to work aluminium automotive & aerospace components
- Ensure all gauges, fixtures and visual aids are kept clean and in good condition, reporting any damage and/or corrective actions
-Accurate completion of daily work sheets
Candidates must possess the following skills & experience for this Sheet Metal Operative role-
*Knowledge of BIW
*Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery
*Previous experience as a Tinsmith/Sheet Metal Worker/Fabrication
*Experience working within an Automotive environment
*Experience of Welding Aluminium
*Experience of English Wheel & with Eckold shrink & stretch machines
*Work to A Class finish within automotive manufacturing
*Able to work independently as a problem solver and work proactively
*Strong communication skills, must be able to work from written or verbal instructions and
understand engineering drawings
*Teamwork, works effectively and cooperatively with others to achieve goals
*Must want to aspire to achieve high standards of work and professionalism at all times
*Remain calm whilst working under pressure
*Flexibility within your role to meet business needs
Sheet Metal Operative rate of pay- £11.00-£13.50p/h dependent upon experience.
Sheet Metal Operative hours of work- Mon-Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm, Fridays 8.00am-3.15pm
Immediate start, temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Transport is essential due to location.
