Location: Worcester
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
Full Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced manufacturing leader looking to take ownership of a high-performing production team? This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in driving safety, quality, delivery and continuous improvement.

Working closely with production and operational teams, you will lead a skilled workforce, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency and health & safety.

The Role

* Lead, motivate and develop a team of technicians and operators
* Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production activities to achieve output targets
* Monitor departmental performance through key operational KPIs
* Drive continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives
* Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process
* Promote a strong health & safety culture across the department
* Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure smooth production flow
* Manage training plans, risk assessments and team development activities

Requirements

Essential:
* Previous experience within a Production Supervisor, Team Leader or Manufacturing Leadership role
* Strong people management and coaching skills
* Experience delivering results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People objectives
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Experience planning and scheduling production activities

Desirable:
* Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of quality control and inspection processes
* Experience leading 5S, Kaizen or operational excellence initiatives
* Understanding of KPI reporting and performance management
