My client are a leading automotive engineering company operating internationally with major brand names across the automotive industry.

They are currently looking to bring in an automotive Software Controls Project Engineer to work on a variety of electric vehicle propulsion and Battery Management Systems (BMS) software and control systems for their EV and Hybrid function in their software team.

As a Software Controls Project Engineer, you will be responsible for

*Software development using Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow
*Developing software controls for electric vehicle propulsions
*Supporting Systems and Software level requirements

As a Software Controls Project Engineer You should be experienced in:

*Prototype modelling
*Hybrid and EV and Battery Management Systems software controls ideally with Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow
*Automotive software development
*Mil (model in loop), Hil (hardware in loop) and Sil (software in loop) testing
*Working across the full software V-Cycle
*Verification and Validation testing
*Prototype and integration testing

It would be beneficial if as a Software Controls Project Engineer you could also be experienced in any of the below:

*C/C++ embedded automotive software development
*Autosar/Spice compliant automotive software development
*Electrical and Electronic systems, CAN/bus, vehicle network protocols
*Ideally ISO26262 safety controls
