My client is a specialist engineering company that produces a wide range of electronic devices that are used globally. As a Software Technical Lead, your focus will be providing technical leadership of software developments across the company, supporting and assisting with the development of new products, and improving software processes.

Software Technical Lead Responsibilities;

• Implementing a wide range of software projects
• Work on a range of protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, CAN, SPI
• Writing embedded software in C
• Writing Javascript in both Bare Metal and Linux Environments
• Lead a range delivery of multiple complex software development projects
• Ensure that technical documentation relating to the software elements of a product is accurate and up to date
• Provide technical support to clients and the wider engineering team

Software Technical Lead Requirements;

• Previous experience in embedded engineering
• Experience in embedded design implementation, debugging and test
• Experienced in Linux and Bare Metal programming
• Able to write embedded software in C
• Must have a hands-on approach to software projects
• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Team Player
• Must have a keen interest in new technologies

The Software Technical Lead role can be based in either Hereford or London.
