Job description
The Role
This is a 10 Month Fixed Term Contract. There could be potential for a permanent role to become available.
As Supply Chain Administrator you will be based on site working from the main offices near Bewdley, Worcestershire. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, this role would ideally suit someone with strong administrative skills and a methodical approach.
Responsibilities
- Raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Forwarding purchase orders to suppliers and site operations.
- Receipting in of products and services against respective purchase orders.
- Raising invoices.
- Completing daily and weekly reports for Managing Director, Site Managers and key suppliers.
- Monitoring supplier order books and getting progress update from suppliers.
- Controlling paperwork and system stock movements for shipments into the UK.
- Booking transport for material collections from various UK docks, freight forwarders and suppliers.
- Updating forecast reports
- Data recording.
- Maintaining delivery booking in systems.
- Maintaining weekly records of traceability for purchases.
- Resolving supplier invoice queries on pricing, quantities products etc.
- Checking stock on office consumables and purchasing any requirements.
- Placing orders directly onto supplier systems for PPE and miscellaneous purchases including orders placed with Amazon.
- Maintaining physical and virtual filing systems.
Requirements
- Previous administration experience.
- Strong communications skills whether by phone or e-mail.
- Good knowledge of Sage 1000 or similar would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Ability to manage departmental and own tasks but work well in a team.
- Be confident and able to work on developing and improving systems.
Based Near Bewdley, Worcestershire. Own transport required due to remote location.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
Salary £19,000 - £20,000 depending on experience.
