The Company

An ambitious and growing business, they design, develop and produce their own products selling primarily to the UK market, although they are now growing their export sales.

The Role

As Supply Chain Co-ordinator you will look after the whole of the supply chain process, working closely with the Directors, production team and maintaining close relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities

Identify when components need to be ordered to meet customer demand.
Place & progress orders.
Working closely with suppliers, negotiating preferential terms.
Visit production facility to assist with goods inspection, problem solving & processes.
Match purchase invoices received against orders & goods received notes.
Authorise invoices ready for payment.
Ensuring sufficient stock is available for production line at all times.
Potential to attend stock counts.
Occasional supplier visits.

Requirements

Previous, recent experience in a similar role.
Good all round IT skills, in particular Excel.
Experience of Access Supply Chain system or any POP system beneficial.
Confident communicator.
Able to maintain close relationships with suppliers.
Confident negotiator.
