The Role

Based on site at Kidderminster, the Supply Chain Manager reports to the Operations Director and is responsible for production and transport planning, inventory management and external processing.


Management of the supply chain team.
To manage the effective scheduling of all production lines to ensure customer delivery requirements are achieved.
To oversee production capacity and to make recommendations to ensure current and future sales targets are achieved.
Management of transport planning to achieve high vehicle utilisation and low costs.
Management of all third party / external processor supply chains.
Control of production related consumables.
Liaison with purchasing team to optimise goods-in process.
Management of inventory to achieve stock turn and aged stock targets.
Implement continuous improvement activity to improve the supply chain operations.


Steel or Manufacturing background.
Management Experience.
Supply Chain and Planning experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
A strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement.
Computer literate, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office software.


Circa £30k Basic salary.
Company pension.

Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm. Friday 8:30am to 3:15pm.
