Talent Acquisition Officer

This innovative, forward thinking specialist engineering company is looking for a Talent Acquisition Officer to join an incredibly 'hands on' and proactive HR team and take responsibility for sourcing talent in order to assist in the growth of the business. working alongside the HR Officers, you will be involved in recruitment campaign management, interviewing, raising employer brand andactively recruiting.

As part of an expanding organisation, you will need to be naturally proactive, highly organised and experienced in sourcing excellent talent.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Leading on the end to end recruitment of allocated vacancies
  • Writing engaging adverts to reflect the employer brand
  • Holding recruitment campaign meeting with hiring managers and team leaders
  • Working with managers to produce accurate and well written job descriptions
  • Sourcing suitable candidates through a range of identified methods
  • Arranging interview days and content
  • Negotiating agency fees and terms with recruitment agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with employment eligibility checks
  • Managing the administration of recruitment records accurately
  • Managing compliance with GDPR regulations and Data Protection Act
  • As an experienced recruiting and talent sourcing professional, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar talent acquisition / recruiting role
  • Up to date recruitment legislation knowledge
  • Experienced in using social media / LinkedIn for recruitment purposes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and confident and customer focused manner
  • Excellent team player
  • Adaptable to a fast paced environment
