An established and global FMCG business distributing goods throughout the UK and worldwide.
As Team Leader you will report to the Senior Manager on site and provide leadership for the staff under your daily management control.
To provide legal compliance for health and safety control for your team in line with company policy.
Ensure that SMART work objectives are set in place for each team member.
Deliver set KPI targets as agreed with the Senior Manager.
Authorise and control holiday and absence within your team.
Undertake accident investigation and return process as required.
To communicate via phone, email and verbally with all work colleagues including departmental heads as required on a daily basis.
Have responsibility for ensuring all fire exits and fire extinguishers are compliant on a monthly basis.
Complete monthly site safety audits.
Ensure all housekeeping is kept to the correct standard.
Be proactive with the business in providing solutions to operational challenges as required.
Must be able to provide flexibility with the demands of the hours to do the job role.
Significant warehouse/logistics, goods in / out, stock room experience ESSENTIAL.
Previous Management/Supervisory experience essential.
Used to working in a busy, fast paced warehouse environment.
Ability to deliver against set objectives and KPI's.
Good overall standard of maths & English
Strong computer literacy
Exceptionally high working standards & attention to detail
Excellent organisation, planning & problem solving skills
£23,000 - £24,000 annual salary.
Based Near Kidderminster.
Monday to Friday permanent 'back shift' - hours TBC.
