My client are a global manufacturing company, producing medium to high volume products in a range of materials. With a simple focus in a complex technology market they are driven to producing quality products to better enable their customer's reliability and efficiency.

Due to the company's growth they are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to support a busy team at a period of high production. As an experienced Toolmaker you will be responsible for the following:
*Manufacturing of bespoke tooling and ancillaries
*Develop and produce new tooling to specification from commissioning stage to production
*Service and repair tooling including stripping and cleaning and rebuild work
*Any other duties reasonably expected as a Toolmaker

Experience
*High skill level and experience of building press tools
*Able to confidently interpret and work to engineering drawings
*Background of working with manufacturing machinery
*Competent in the following areas
oBench fitting
oTurning
oMilling
oGrinding (surface and cylindrical)
oDrilling
oWelding, Brazing and Silver Soldering
oKnowledge of wire/ spark eroders
*Conversant with all aspect of H&S

This Toolmaker role is based in Stourport, commutable from Worcester, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Hartlebury, Kidderminster, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Bewdley, and Birmingham. Competitive salary with shift bonuses.
