Warehouse Operative

Lens Online is part of the global Specsavers Group.

Lens Online function is to distribute contact lenses to customers directly and also to distribute lenses and frames to Specsavers stores.

The warehouse Operative role involves picking products using a hand held scanner which tells you the location of product and how many are needed to be picked. Products are then placed in the correct section of the trolley to then be passed on to the packing department.

The next stage of the Warehouse Operative position is to pack the picked products which involves standing at a work bench, assembling boxes, printing off paperwork and labelling ready to post out.

There are other general warehouse roles within the business, flexibility to move around to areas when needed is essential.

Full training will be provided, previous experience is not required.

Warehouse Operative shifts and pay:

  • 06:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday - £9.50p/h
  • 14:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday - £9.50p/h
  • 22:00 to 06:00 Monday to Friday - £11.87p/h
  • 06:00 to 18:00 Saturday & Sunday - £12.26p/h
