Warehouse Team Leader

Warehouse Team Leader.

An opportunity to work for a leading, specialist manufacturing and supply business from their brand new warehousing facility in Worcester. Supplying to customers around the world, the business continues to develop and evolve, creating further growth.

As Warehouse Team Leader you will report in to the Warehouse Manager and lead the team to ensure that quantity, quality and delivery targets are achieved. This will involve working within set timescales to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities:

• Manage resources, both people and equipment, to achieve warehouse targets and output, quality and on-time delivery of products on a daily basis.
• Decide best method of working for warehouse processes to facilitate productivity improvements.
• Manage on a day-to-day basis employee issues, including discipline, absence, housekeeping, motivation and morale.
• Ensure the requirements of the Company Health and Safety Policy are achieved.
• Continue development of a team culture and achievement of individual / team goals and objectives.
• Ensure the effective and efficient use of resources in liaison with other Team Leader colleagues.
• Drive a philosophy of continuous improvement.
• In liaison with the HR team, help manage the training programme.
• Support and promote Company events/initiatives.
• Carry out duties in line with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) where required.
• Support the team by carrying out day to day warehousing duties as appropriate.
• Completion of administration processes and updating systems.

Requirements:

• Experience of managing and leading teams in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Fork Lift experience and licences beneficial.
• Good, all round general warehousing experience.
• The ability to lead and motivate others.

Up to £29,000 annual salary + benefits.

Based in Worcester.

Monday to Thursday 9:45am - 6:15pm, Friday 9:45am to 5:45pm.
