The Warriors Community Foundation exists to help build a legacy for sport, education, health and social cohesion across the communities within our reach.
We utilise our brand, iconic status, players and professional staff to engage and inspire people through the power of sport to live an active, healthy and rewarding lifestyle.
Many of our initiatives are award-winning and demonstrate innovation across multiple disabilities. Coupled with our work with minority groups and young people who are disengaged with society make our Foundation unique.
Due to our expansion plan, we are currently seeking a full-time Foundation Development Executive to join us.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience of creating, developing and delivering innovate fundraising initiatives and developing sponsorship and partnerships within the local community and with local businesses. We are therefore looking for someone who is driven, shares our excitement for Premiership Rugby and sport in general and who can take this passion out into the marketplace and raise awareness that will underpin our vision - to be the best inclusive sports foundation.
The ideal candidate will also have a sound education and a degree in marketing is desirable but not essential. However, a minimum of 5 years' proven experience within the sector is a necessity.
A clean driving licence is a necessity as is an enhanced DBS clearance.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to open doors and have fresh ideas about how to maximise income. Articulate and confident our candidate will also have good humour, be able to work independently and part as part of a close-knit team.

Responsible for developing, marketing and fulfilling new fundraising activities and events to attract unrestricted funding for the development of new initiatives. To seek sponsorship, donations and partnerships which will enable us to expand our award-winning initiatives to a wider audience and increase the amount of people we can support through the Foundation.
1.Undertake research on prospective corporate, major, trust and public donors.
2.Lead on development of new fundraising products and events and market them.
3.Cold call potential donors and build relationships with them.
4.Update donors on how their money is being spent.
5.Research and write case studies on the impact of the organisation's work.
6.Respond to unique inquiries from trusts, corporates and members of the public.
7.Write fundraising applications to trusts and foundations or charity of the year proposals to corporates.
8.Write reports for trusts and foundations n the use of existing grants.
9.Maintain and update donors' records on a fundraising database.
10.Write internal reports, analysing fundraising progress on a monthly or periodic basis.
11.Organise and take part in strategy and planning meetings with members of the Foundation Team.
12.Arrange fundraising events and tours of the charity's projects for potential donors.
13.Work in liaison with Worcester Warriors' Commercial Team to ensure no cross over and to take advantage of any mutually beneficial opportunities.
