Web Analyst (£30,000-£35,000)

An opportunity has arisen in one of the UK's leading software solutions providers to join their team as a Web Analyst.

This company specialises in providing bespoke software solutions to insurance companies, brokers, and MGAs.

This Web Analyst position would be based remotely until at least February next year, but the client are considering candidates from across the UK - those who live within a commutable distance to their offices in either Worcester, Winchester or Milton Keynes.

In this Web Analyst opportunity you will conduct analytical related activity across the business, offering quantitative and qualitative analysis to assist both customers and internal teams. Providing consultancy to drive conversion rate optimisation and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities:

*Implement and maintain existing analytics solutions across multiple client web applications
*Identify opportunities for variant testing ensuring that all required performance data can be reliably tracked and reported
*Perform ad-hoc analytics consultancies for clients and document the work
*Represent the eCommerce team in client meetings, providing technical analytics input
*Provide best practice guidance for technical aspects of analysis
*Work closely with Design and Development functions to ensure analytics requirements are applied and maintained appropriately into our solutions
*Identify opportunities to implement innovative new methodologies and improve analytical processes
*Analyse output of measurement and tracking systems and document proposals for improvements and optimisation
*Use available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot tracking and measurement issues
*Utilise internal tools for debugging, data collection, reporting, etc

Key skills and experience you will need to be successful in this Web Analyst opportunity:

*Experience of working with analytical services (e.g. Google Analytics) and tag management systems (e.g. Google Tag Manager) (essential)
*Experience producing and presenting analytics reports both in person and via dashboards and marketing platforms. Gathering and understanding technical client requirements and designing suitable technical solutions (essential)
*Excellent working knowledge of JavaScript, browser technology, cookie behaviour and analytics systems (essential)
*Strong overall knowledge of web analytics, CRO and variant testing (essential)
*Experience with data visualisation software (e.g. Google Data Studio, Elasticsearch, Power BI) (essential)
*Understanding of (and passion to learn about) the technical aspects of web analytics, and conversion optimisation (essential)
*Experience using Docker (advantageous)
*Basic Regex and SQL knowledge (advantageous)
