Our client is looking for a Welding Line Leader to join their existing team, working on bespoke, made to measure products for the manufacturing sector.

This role is a Working Lead role and so working as part of the team is essential. In return, our client offers competitive salary and a secure position in well-established company.

Welding Line Leader Responsibilities:

• Scheduling, prioritising and distributing work between Welders
• Check and test welds, ensuring high quality
• Interpret engineering drawings, MIG/TIG welding and fabrication, assists within the Company as and when required
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing team
• Meeting tight deadlines to agreed Standard times

Welding Line Leader Requirements:

• Experience in MIG/TIG welding is essential
• Experience in welding large complex fabrications
• Must be able to weld a range of materials, i.e. mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and coated steels
• Experience in some management is advantageous, however this role could suit a candidate who is looking to progress their current career

This Welding Line Leader opportunity is based in Kidderminster and is commutable from Worcester, Stourbridge, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Bridgnorth and Tenbury Wells.
