Finance Operations Manager

Finance Operations Manager required to join finance function of well-established organisation with social enterprise status - Herefordshire - £45,000 + generous benefits and hybrid working

Opportunity for an experienced, CIMA / ACCA qualified Finance Operations Manager to join this well established, expanding SME with social enterprise status. This is a new, standalone role working in the finance division of 5 and will report into the FD. The Finance Operations Manager will assist in developing the financial strategy for the business and collaborate across departments to ensure that colleagues have a good understanding of financial practice in order to achieve continuous business growth.

A dynamic role in a fast-paced environment. The Finance Operations Manager will:

  • Establish and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enhance functionality
  • Provide advice and commercial oversight to management team
  • Financial planning, forecasting and budgeting
  • Research and review trend analysis, analyse and review balance sheets
  • Plan and deliver management accounts
  • Develop KPIs
  • Oversee auditing for subsidiary accounts
  • Support FD with development of financial policies, procedures and systems

The ideal candidate for this Finance Operations Manager position will be CIMA / ACCA qualified and experienced in managing financial services for a growing company. Commercial awareness is key and the ability to form working relationships and collaborate across teams will ensure success in this Finance Manager position. Must have excellent communication, good analysis and problem-solving skills as well as be persuasive and able to influence. This is a standalone role so, overall, must be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.

£45,000 plus excellent benefits including enhanced holiday allowance, generous pension contribution, gym membership, health cash plan. Hybrid working role working 37 hours per work - some travel to various (local) company sites required.
