• What is a Design Engineer? A Design Engineer is a person who agrees specifications of products with clients and follows with creation of the design for the product required. There is a variety of Design Engineer requirements and responsibilities depending on the field of work.

This can be a purely mechanical design (eg. parts or components), electrical design (eg. wiring schematics) , electronic design (eg. PCB boards) and others. Designers are often able to cross between the disciplines to support their companies and have a wide understanding across the board.

• What is a Design Engineer's responsibilities? Design Engineers are creative thinkers who are able to originate an idea or an improvement.
