Job: Auditor & Accounts Senior

Location: Malvern - Can be based in Worcester/Malvern/Hereford/Home

Hours: Full or part time considered

Salary: £25,000 - £45,000 - Candidates at both ends of the spectrum considered

50 / 50 split between auditing and accounting

We are looking for an enthusiastic Auditor / Accountant to join our clients friendly audit team. Our client are open to candidates that have just started their ACCA, looking to kick start their career, or equally a candidate that can bring their experience to the role. This role is a split between audit and accountancy and will be full-time or part-time for the right candidate. Our client also offer support with training / qualifications and opportunities for future promotion.

Your new role:

• Reporting to the Audit Manager/Partner

• Carrying out statutory audits from planning stage through to completion

• Having knowledge and experience of current auditing standards and approaches

• Preparation of audit files using an electronic working paper system

• Preparation of statutory accounts from client's core records

• Developing an understanding of our client's and their businesses

• Liaising with clients to discuss and resolve accountancy queries

• Highlighting issues for the attention of senior management

• Working as part of a team to undertake a variety of audit and accountancy tasks

Qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate for the position of Auditor and Accounts will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Part or Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
• Eager to learn and take on new challenges
• Happy to travel to client sites and do audits / Expenses paid
