There is now a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops, and manufactures a range of bespoke products within the automotive industry sector as a Configuration Control Engineer. As a Configuration Control Engineer your role will focus on configuration control and managing the bill of materials for manufacturing processes.

Configuration Control Engineer Responsibilities;

• Create, maintain and configure the Bill of Materials process in an ERP system
• Ensure that all documents and design changes are reflected in the relevant BOMs
• Control items and master items added to the ERP system
• Provide technical support to the wider teams
• Complete regular desk top audits

Configuration Control Engineer Requirements;

• Must be experienced using an ERP system
• Educated to HNC level or higher in an engineering related discipline
• Knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings would be advantageous
• Experienced working to manufacturing standards would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Must be a team player
