Job description

HR Officer

An experienced HT Officer is required to join this busy Manufacturing company across their two sites. Based mainly in Ledbury, with travel to the Evesham site, you will be a proactive member of the HR team, supporting the HR Manager across the business.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Taking responsibility for engagement surveys and ensuring engagement levels are high across both sites

  • Managing the training matrix and process and responsibility for site apprentices

  • Managing the full recruitment process including administering, supporting and coaching managers through the process

  • Ensuring all HR policies are implemented

  • Providing disciplinary and grievance advice

  • Maintaining HR systems

  • Conducting welfare meetings

  • Producing accurate monthly HR reports

  • Supporting the monthly payroll process

Skills and experience required:

  • CIPD qualification (ideally level 5)

  • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as being part of a team

  • Strong numerical ability in order to assist with payroll

Based in Ledbury, you will also be required to visit the site in Evesham and so own transport is necessary.
