Job description

Are you highly organised, proactive and ready to play a vital role in a fast-paced procurement environment?
We're looking for a Procurement Co-ordinator and Support to join a dynamic Procurement team, supporting the smooth running of buying activities, supplier deliveries and system administration.

As a key link between suppliers, buyers and internal teams, you'll help drive supplier performance, ensure on-time deliveries, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Procurement team with daily buying activities and order progress tracking.

  • Coordinate supplier deliveries to achieve OTIF (On Time In Full) targets.

  • Liaise with suppliers, warehouse, logistics, and internal stakeholders to maintain an efficient supply flow.

  • Maintain accurate system data (vendors, pricing, lead times, etc.) and support ERP integrity.

  • Manage and resolve supplier and invoice queries in collaboration with Accounts.

  • Contribute to new part introductions, RFQs, benchmarking, and cost analysis.

  • Assist in preparing and reporting procurement KPIs.

  • Support the creation and management of supplier SLAs and internal procedures.

  • Identify and implement improvements in supplier performance and delivery accuracy.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 1 year in a purchasing or 2 years in a supply chain role.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Clear communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Proactive, solution-focused, and accountable mindset.

  • Strong Excel and IT skills; experience with ERP systems (Navision, SAP, or similar).

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

  • Continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset.

  • Flexibility, adaptability and enthusiasm for learning.

  • Full clean driving licence and valid passport.

Desirable:

  • CIPS qualification or working towards it.

  • Experience interpreting technical drawings.

  • Understanding of global procurement practices and compliance.

£28,000 salary

Office based during probabtion and then an opportunity for hybrid working (at companies discretion)
