Job Description - Project Administrator (Temporary Contract)
Location: Evesham
Department: Operations
Reporting to: Project Manager Team Lead
Contract: Temporary - Until End of January 2026
Pay Rate: £15.38 per hour
Overview
We are supporting our client in the search for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to work closely with the Operations team and provide essential administrative support across a large-scale, business-critical project. The role involves coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers with day-to-day administrative duties and project coordination.
Support scheduling, planning, and tracking of project activities.
Maintain and update project information, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Compile and prepare technical documentation, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and machinery test (FAT) documentation.
Assist with the implementation and standardisation of departmental procedures, workflows, and documentation.
Prepare and maintain key project documents such as Risk Registers, Issue Registers, and project schedules.
Act as a point of contact for the project team, facilitating communications and promoting strong stakeholder relationships.
Support interaction and collaboration with internal departments including Engineering, Purchasing, and Production.
Use and manage documentation portals such as Aconex and Interaxo (experience beneficial).

Strong communication skills and confident stakeholder engagement.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Decisive and capable of supporting project decisions.
Computer literate with strong general IT capability.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Previous experience in project or contract delivery within a busy project management environment.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with project management systems.
Understanding of project management methodologies, technical documentation, and workflow processes.
Project management certification is advantageous but not essential.
Occasional travel to customer sites may be required depending on project needs.
