My client is a well-established company that designs, manufactures and supplies a range of bespoke products. As a Technical Buyer, your role will focus on sourcing and negotiating on materials for NPD, reviewing domestic and international suppliers and focus on cost reduction across the supply chain.

Technical Buyer Responsibilities;

• Managing the supply chain deliveries in accordance with the ERP demands
• Reviewing the supply chain and identify areas of potential cost reduction
• Work closely with the NPD Team and understand the material requirements for new products
• Sourcing and negotiating on materials
• Ensuring that parts provided are in compliance with ISO standards
• Liaising with domestic and international supplier

Technical Buyer Experience;

• Previous experience working in a technical buying/purchasing role
• Experienced in sourcing and negotiating international suppliers
• Experienced in updating and maintaining the ERP systems
• Experienced in purchasing parts and materials for engineering builds is essential
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Must be a team player
