Warehouse Operative

This is a great opportunity to work for a market leading company with a supportive and team orientated environment. You will play a key role within the warehouse and very rarely you may be required to cover for the delivery driver (no more than approximately three times a year)

As a Warehouse Operative, your main responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Picking and packing components efficiently, using your initiative to determine the best methods.
  • Assessing order notes for accuracy and performing quality control checks during packing.
  • Cutting, labelling, and writing product information on panels and casings.
  • Operating machinery such as power presses, banders, and wrapping machines.
  • Receiving and recording returned goods and managing stock accurately.
  • Gathering parts, elements, and brackets, and labelling adaptors.
  • Maintaining a weekly production log and performing general housekeeping in the warehouse.
  • Conducting the annual stock take.
  • Any other reasonable tasks delegated by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Occasional cover for delivery driver duties, including potential overnight stays.

Requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Counter-balance forklift licence (Aisle Master/Bendi licence is advantageous).
  • Experience in a similar operational warehouse role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Based in Ledbury, our client is offering a salary of £26,534.04 Monday- Friday 8.30am - 5pm (4pm finish on Friday) plus excellent additional benefits.
