Hewett proud to support Girls Rugby In Kidderminster

Girls Rugby In Kidderminster is growing and recruiting well. Since 2017 Girls grass roots rugby in Kidderminster has grown from 3 players to a squad of over 20 girls playing rugby today.

This has not happened by accident, Cliona Snow KCRFC Ladies manager has been dedicated in driving the recruitment of new players and marketing the offering of Girls rugby within the local community through word of mouth, social media and promotion within schools. In Cliona’s words “the future of girl’s rugby at KCRFC is really bright. We are an all-inclusive, friendly, hardworking bunch, who welcome new members at any point”

The development of girl’s rugby also wouldn’t happen without the generous support of volunteers and sponsors from across the local area to help provide kit and training equipment to aid development. As a company, Hewett have opted to do just that, by providing a donation to the club to support with their requirements.

Mark Barrett Chairman of KCRFC commented “It is fantastic to see the growth of Girl’s rugby at Kidderminster Carolians Rugby Club and it is though the support kindly provided by Hewett Recruitment to our Girls that really helps to make it possible to continue their development. It really is appreciated by all the Girls and the wider club”

Ben Mannion, Hewett Recruitment Director & Owner, commented “Girls rugby has developed enormously in recent years and it is great that KCRFC has been at the forefront of this in the local area, thanks in no small part to the army of volunteers who have made it happen. Hewett are proud to make a donation in support of such an inclusive part of the local community and look forward to continuing to support its growth moving forwards. KCRFC is a club close to the heart of Hewett…I played there for both the junior and senior sides, including the Veterans team in recent years…and Laura’s son plays in the minis section now, with her husband also coaching at the club so it’s great to be able to help in this way."
