Chris Swann

I’m Chris Swann and I lead Hewett Recruitment’s IT desk, specialising in permanent IT recruitment across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and the wider Midlands area.

I support clients across software development, IT infrastructure, support, cloud, cyber security, data, delivery and technical leadership roles. My work covers everything from hands on technical appointments through to senior hires, helping businesses identify, attract and secure people who can make a genuine impact.

I joined Hewett in February 2020 after starting my recruitment career with larger global recruiters and have since built a strong network across the local technology market. I enjoy understanding the role beyond the job description, and representing opportunities in a way that engages the right candidates.

For candidates, I aim to provide honest advice, clear communication and a consultative approach throughout the process. For clients, my focus is on delivering a recruitment service that is thorough, realistic and genuinely useful, whether that involves market insight, salary guidance, targeted search or long term talent planning.

Having called Worcester home since I was 10, I have a strong connection to the region and understand the importance of local relationships. Hewett’s long standing presence across the Three Counties is a real strength, and I’m proud to play a part in supporting the technology businesses and candidates within that community.
