Fleet Manager

The Role

Fleet Manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Fleet Manager will ensure full fleet and driver compliance and that all vehicles are in optimal condition and meet all relevant safety regulations. The fleet encompasses over 100 vehicles (from Vans up to Class 1 HGVs) and 120 drivers. The Fleet Manager will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive continuous improvement.

You should be an experienced Fleet Manager and motivational leader, having experience of a similarly sized fleet.

Based out of Worcester, the role will require travel to 3 additional sites within the UK, some of which will require an occasional overnight stay.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility to ensure all vehicles and trailers are compliant with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Working with the business objectives and other departments to continually improve customer service.
• Monitor and analyse available data to identify areas of improvement or change.
  Ensure all vehicles are licensed, registered, and insured.
• To effectively manage the vehicle scheduling across all sites in regards maintenance, repairs and replacement.
• To report on any accidents / incidents.
• Maintain FORS Silver accreditation and Earned Recognition.

Requirements

• Previous Fleet Management experience.
• Transport Manager CPC holder.
• Excellent knowledge of the working time directive / driver hours.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Experience of fleet compliance.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

Based in Worcester, with travel to 3 other UK sites.

Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours. Core hours 9am to 5pm with flexibility required.

Salary circa £55,000.
