Logistics Coordinator
Location: Kidderminster (Hartlebury area)
Salary: £14 - £15 per hour (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Flexible - 7:00-15:00 / 8:00-16:00 / 9:00-17:00
Contract: Temp to Perm
Start Date: Immediate
Working Pattern: Full-time or Part-time (3-4 days per week considered)
The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business, recognised as a leader within its specialist field. They are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support their supply chain and distribution operations.

The Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will act as a key link between customers, internal departments, and external logistics providers to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating the dispatch of customer orders in line with requirements
Liaising with freight forwarders to arrange cost-effective and reliable transport
Preparing and managing all dispatch and export documentation
Supporting warehouse operations with accurate and timely updates on collections and deliveries
Monitoring delivery performance, delays, and associated costs
Managing stock movements between external warehouse providers and the manufacturing site
Carrying out stock reconciliation and investigating discrepancies
Supporting internal teams and deputising for management when required
Maintaining accurate filing systems in line with company procedures
General administrative duties as required
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
About You
Essential:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
IT literate, including Microsoft Office
Desirable:
Previous experience within logistics, transport, or supply chain
Understanding of freight forwarding and export processes
Experience working with international shipments (road, sea, or air)
Knowledge of stock control and warehouse coordination
