Hewett Recruitment are working in partnership with our client based in Stourport on new permanent positions. Currently looking to grow and expand so this is a really exciting time to join the business!

We are looking for an experienced Press Operative with Setting experience from a previous role.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Working to and follow production instructions and sequence charts
• Work to and achieve agreed targets
• Check and clean equipment / production area
• Machine Maintenance - Lead TPM/tool maintenance as required
• Ensuring parts produced are of a suitable standard
• Organise/perform equipment changeover and setting of processes
• Organise/perform equipment changeover and setting of processes
• Investigate and problem solve following any equipment breakdown

Requirements/Experience:

• High volume Press experience is essential, 30-350 ton press (manual and Auto)
• Setting experience is preferred
• Previous experience within production/process improvements within Press shop
• There is an opportunity to grow so a positive and proactive approach is essential
• Crane license would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills across all areas
• Knowledge of health and safety, COSHH etc.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm

Friday 11am - 4pm

Pay:

£25,350 pa

This role is based in Stourport with limited transport links so the suitable candidate should have their own transport to and from the site.
