Hewett Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for Production Operatives for a leading manufacturing client in Kidderminster, with positions available for their January 2026 intake.

Our client is a market leader in the production of wheels for off-highway and construction vehicles. With decades of success at their Kidderminster site and a global customer base, they're looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join their growing, dynamic team!

  • Hourly Rate of £14.50p/h increasing once permanent.
  • Temp to Perm for successful candidates at around 12 weeks.

The Role:

As a Production Operative, you'll be working in a busy, heavy engineering/manufacturing environment. You'll be trained on various machinery and play a key role in the production of high-quality steel wheels. Whether you're new to manufacturing or bring some experience with you, you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and make a real impact.

We're Looking For People Who:

  • Have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in their work

  • Are reliable, motivated, and eager to contribute

  • Understand the importance of safety and always use the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Have a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges, including safety systems and risk assessments

  • Enjoy working as part of a team, collaborating and supporting colleagues to meet goals

What You'll Get:

  • Comprehensive Training & Development:

    • Full company induction and on-the-job training

  • Experience:

    • CNC experience and FLT License are a plus, but not essential

  • Work-Life Balance:

    • Rotating shifts - 4-day workweek with Fridays off!

    • Shift Patterns:

      • 5am - 2pm (Monday to Thursday)

      • 2pm - 11pm (Monday to Thursday)

      • Fridays off!
