Job description

The Role

Based from offices in Kidderminster, as Sales and Marketing Administrator you will work within a small team and take on a varied role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in IT systems, particularly Sage, Excel, and Word. This role requires a proactive individual with a flexible approach to daily tasks, who can efficiently manage various responsibilities related to sales, customer service, and marketing.

The business still uses a lot of manual administration processes, and is heavily reliant on spreadsheets. You therefore must be a confident user of spreadsheets (Excel) and able to process work with patience and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and make calls to customers and the internal Sales Team.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle customer service enquiries and complaints, including compiling and sending letters.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock control procedures.
  • Create and update budgets for marketing purposes.
  • Monitor website data and facilitate updates as needed.
  • Utilise Mailchimp communication system for customer email updates.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse for orders to be cut, wrapped, and dispatched.
  • Generate and manage customer invoices, including monitoring aged debt.
  • Organise samples for customers.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in IT data input, with experience in Sage being advantageous.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Excel and Word, including the use of lookups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Online marketing experience, to include social media, website updates, blogs and newsletters.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task management.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.


Based in Kidderminster.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
