Senior IT Operations Manager

A fantastic opportunity to join a manufacturing company specialising in flooring materials. We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to help guide an IT team to redevelop the company's applications globally and ensure all Cyber security requirements are met to prevent attacks or data breaches.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal Systems Development team.
• Road mapping for systems and infrastructure, communicating with the Executive team.
• Maintain exemplary customer service, whilst working with the IT Helpdesk team.
• Identifying and supplying timely IT resources for key programmes and projects.
• Develop and implement infrastructure plans and budgets, with continual improvement as a priority.
• Preparing IT budget based on future proofing requirements, existing system and software maintenance.
• Plan, budget and implement standard IT & Communication systems, using the UK as the best in practice platform.
• Ensuring access control to data files and emails.
• Overall management of personnel performing development & support activities, ensuring competency though recruitment and training.

Skills and Experience Needed

• Minimum 3-4 years of management experience.
• Knowledge and experience of using Citrix
• Administration of Windows OS.
• Administration of MS Exchange server.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing and support service processes.
• Project management skills to setup IT
• People management and negotiation skills.
• Service attitude to resolve user issues.
• Interpersonal skills to work with various personalities.
• Awareness of Legal compliance under existing law
• Graduate in Computer Science

This is a hybrid working opportunity with the office based in Kidderminster.
