Stores Manager - Kidderminster | Competitive Salary + Benefits

Monday to Friday Full Time, 37 hours per week, days.

Are you an experienced Stores professional looking for a new opportunity? We are working with a growing and ambitious company specialising in the design and manufacture of specialist vehicles, who are looking for a Stores Manager to join their team at their Kidderminster site.

The Role:

As Stores Manager, you'll be leading a small, dedicated team to deliver all warehouse and stores activities efficiently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and developing the stores team, leading by example.
  • Managing all aspects of goods in/out, stock control, kit picking, and sales orders.
  • Supporting internal material movement and site deliveries.
  • Ensuring accurate recording and secure storage of all parts and materials.
  • Coordinating monthly stock counts and returns/defect items.
  • Supporting system improvements and integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Liaising with planning and quality teams to ensure Right First Time (RFT) delivery.
  • Promoting and maintaining a safe, clean working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse/stores environment.
  • Management/Supervisory experience in a similar environment is essential.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and meet customer specifications.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • IT/system experience and basic stock management knowledge.
  • Experience of using a fork lift truck.
  • Flexibility to support with forklift duties, deliveries, and general warehouse tasks.
